A shipping container kitchen is a fully custom built commercial kitchen inside a custom steel container, used as a restaurant, ghost kitchen, resort food outlet, or event concession stand. Restaurant owners, resort operators, event venues, and ghost kitchen startups all use container kitchens as a lower cost alternative to a traditional brick and mortar build. We build custom units for sale and deliver across the U.S. and internationally.

Unlike a food truck or concession trailer, a kiosk, POD, or full size kitchen container does not move on its own. Your unit is loaded onto a flatbed truck or RGN and transported to its final destination. At your location, a crane lifts it into place. Smaller kiosks can be positioned with a forklift. Once it is set, it is ready to be connected and put to work.

Kiosks and kitchen containers are 8ft wide and about 8ft tall. Popular lengths are 10ft, 20ft, 30ft, and 40ft. The right size depends on your concept, your expected volume, and how many people will be working inside. We help you figure that out before we build.

This massive 40ft kitchen container was built by Concession Nation for DECCO Ltd. in Grand Cayman, in 2019. It has everything needed to run a high-volume restaurant.

It has a 13 ft hood with a fire suppression system for its 6 burners 36″ range with convection oven, a 36″ broiler, a 36″ griddle, and 2 deep fryers.

Its cooling equipment features a sandwich and salad prep station, a 3 door full-size refrigerator, and freezer, an under-counter freezer, and a glass door under-counter refrigerator. It also includes a soft-serve ice cream machine. It has plenty of work tables and shelving space to work with multiple staff inside. It has two windows conveniently located for customers to order and pick up. It has plenty of access doors.

It’s a walk-in cooler! It also has sandwich & salad prep stations, a freezer, and a refrigerator. Under the hood, with a fire suppression system, it has a 36″ range, 6 burners with a convection oven, 4 burner hot plate, a 24″ griddle, and a deep fryer.

It has plenty of work tables and shelving space to work with multiple staff inside.

It has one window conveniently located for customers to order and pick up. It has an access door as per this kitchen container’s need.
